Mia Norlin

Dr. Mia Norlin is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist with over 20 years of experience in providing progressive and equitable care, from adolescence through menopause. She particularly loves guiding people through their fertility journey, whether it be through contraception counseling and treatments, actively managing infertility obstacles, or providing reproductive choice options. Passionate about the full spectrum of women's health, Dr. Norlin specializes in obstetrics, including high-risk cases, and comprehensive gynecological care. Dr. Norlin is devoted to the continuity of care, valuing the acute aspects of obstetrics and surgery as much as the ongoing relationships she builds with her patients. Her approach is patient-driven and compassionate, emphasizing personalized treatment plans informed by understanding her patients' unique stories and health journeys. Dr. Norlin’s dedication to her field is fueled by her love for both obstetrics and gynecology, ensuring every patient feels heard, cared for, and expertly treated. Dr. Norlin received a B.A. in Biology and Women’s Studies from Bryn Mawr College, her M.D. from University of Florida College of Medicine, and completed her residency training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Dr. Norlin is a contributing faculty member at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University where she has earned many teaching awards over the years. . She is a Fellow of The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, The American Medical Association and The Chicago Medical Society. In her free time, you can find Dr. Norlin walking on the lakefront with her dog Buckeye or cheering on one of her 3 children at a soccer game. She also loves rooftop gardening and spending time with her husband of over 20 years.
